So maybe I love The Soup....and cats

In case you didn't know, The Soup is the funniest show you can watch on TV. It is, by far, my favorite show EVER! In fact, I think I may be obsessed! I look forward to recording the Soup every Friday night, I watch it over and over again throughout the week and laugh hysterically each time! This week may have been my favorite episode I've seen since in a few months...and I owe it all to this clip...

I Love you Joel!

STUPID DOG!

So last night I spent the night at Deanna's house. I was sleeping like an angel in her spare bedroom when I wake up to this at 5 in the morning.

Who could resist that cute little puppy face of hers. So I made the unconscious decision to let her get in bed with me to take a nap. She was running around having fun when suddenly she runs over to attack my face! Puppy licks are the last thing I need at 5 AM. So I push her away and rolled over....big mistake! My foot landed in a giant, gooey poop crumb. So I woke up and kicked her out of the room when I really wanted to do this....

Abby, you're lucky you were genetically programed so adorable.

Smiiillle :)

Today has been SUCH an amazing day! We got our test scores back from our Organic Chemistry test and I was so pleased to see that I got 84%! That is amazing! The class average was 66% so as you can see I was well above the average. So currently I am certainly passing! In fact, if I try really hard for this last half of class, I have the potential to get an A.....hopefully I can do it!

Sorry these pictures are so big! I tried to resize them and it didn't seem to work! So I guess you'll have to click on the pictures if you want to see them :( SORRY!

I am so excited to hear that my cute, fun, wise, AMAZING! Sister is coming to visit next weekend! Here are a few pictures I found of her and I having a good time!

Here's our girls night party with some of the girls! I wish we all lived closer so we could have more :( Hopefully when I'm in Oregon, I'll be able to come visit Utah more, like when I lived there last time! I love coming to visit you girls!

(I love Gracy's face in this picture)

This is when we went to Little Sahara with the fam. I love riding ATVs NOT DRIVING! I will never forget driving down the bumpy path that I 'gave up' on.

While visiting Utah, Kim and I went to a play about the life of Jesus that was amazing! I am so glad that I was able to share that experience with her. I enjoy spending time with her and I admire her testimony.

So....I can't wait! See you in one week!

i drive around all day listening to music i already have in my head

Today was my mid term so start praying I did 'okay.' I love exam days because it's the only day I can relax before cramming my head again with some more information I will only use in the next few weeks. So I decided to make a playlist of some songs that I've had stuck in my head. I hope you enjoy my taste in music!

Bienvenido a La Bibliateca!

Lately I have spent most of my time in the library. It's actually really convenient. I just go down the street and there's a library, right there on the corner. Don't blink because you might miss it. The only downside to this library is it does not seem to be 'sit down and study friendly.' My first visit to this library I walked around this incredibly small and crowded building; I almost lost hope until I stumbled across something amazing.....There is a small section of the library that caters to the Hispanic population. Amazingly, this section of the library was almost completely barren. Now I can study for my mid term in silence.

Can We Still Be Friends?!

It has been far too long since I have posted a blog. I know what you're thinking and the answer is yes, I did forget my password and user name. Well, in addition to that, I also lack a lot of motivation to write a blog as often as I'd like. I have been so wrapped up in school it has been hard. You would think that I would have plenty of time to work on a blog since I don't have a job and I am only taking one class. However, my class is actually pretty challenging. Two weeks ago I started a five week Organic Chemistry class. I figured it would be a piece of cake given my circumstance. I was quickly put in my place the first day of class. Just a few seconds into summer school my teacher handed out this lovely piece of advice. This is my pledge to Organic Chemistry 230:

By signing this, I acknowledge I understand that satisfactory performance in the Chem 230 5-week summer session will more likely demand huge amounts of my time. I understand the course will cover all the material normally covered in the 15-week session of Chem 230. It is my responsibility alone to learn all the required material. Chem 230 in 5 weeks will probably be the most ridiculously intense and challenging course I will ever take, and I accept this challenge willingly.*

This week is midterms which means I only have 2 more weeks to go...this is my only motivation!

As creepy as this picture is I think it accurately describes how I feel. I'm pretty sure that my head will explode after this class due to an excess of learned material.
They really should add this disclaimer on to the summer pledge.
*Caution: May cause heads to explode.

Crapplebees

Every Saturday night I work as a server at Applebee's. I've been doing this every weekend since Thanksgiving. This is the worst job in the world. It motivates me to finish school and get a good job. It really is hard working with a team of people who hate their lives and the people they work with. I work with some pretty crazy people. There are a few employees who frequently talk bad about each other. Last night was the worst that I have ever seen the tension. One of the servers was angry with the host because she kept seating customers in her section. She went to the host to tell her that it was unacceptable and the host began to further instigate the young server. The server became enraged and began yelling across the restaurant to the host to be more aware of the situation. The server, carrying a huge stack of dishes, threw them on the ground in a fit of rage; Breaking dishes and scattering food everywhere. She then ran to the manager to tell him about the situation. The manager came to the front to talk to the servers and explained that if he was to hear another complaint about another person in the restaurant, he would fire them.

I approached him after his engaging speech to explain....
"I need to talk to you about Jim, He smells really bad. Everyone can smell it and I think it's getting to some of the customers."

Ricardo, the Manager, looked at me and put his head down and sighed "Ashley....."

It was a great night*

*No, it wasn't

But, before I was able to grace my work with my presence. I was able to attend a bridal shower for my good friend Tiffany. I made the cutest card for her.

Here's the card attached to the present. I am such a good friend.
